The City of Orange Township is seeking a Recreation Supervisor with at least 2 years’ experience in recreation programing, planning & development, and supervision of programs and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Recreation or Park and Recreation Management from an accredited college or university; may be substituted for one (1) year of experience; a valid New Jersey driver's license; a valid certificate as a Recreation Supervisor issued by the New Jersey Board of Recreation Examiners or Certified by National Recreation and Park Association.

Omnibus Operator - Part-time

The City of Orange Township is seeking an Omnibus Operator with knowledge of safety precautions in dealing with the elderly and physically challenged persons. Qualified applicant must also exercise high degree of customer service; have experience operating an omnibus vehicle safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Appointee must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license; and a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle being operated.

Public health Nurse Supervisor

Under the direction, of the city's Director of Community Service Department and Health Officer, the PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE SUPERVISOR oversees the specialized public health nursing service work inthe city and throughout assigned districts within the community. The Public Health Nurse Supervisor supervises assigned professional and other support staff in the city's health department and does other related duties.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health. 

EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) years of experience in public health nursing.

LICENSE:
Applicants must possess a current, valid registration as a Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Appointee will be required to possess a valid driver's license from the State of New Jersey as the operation of a vehicle may be necessary to perform essential duties of the position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and in accordance with Township Ordinance. Public health Nurse

Under the direction, of the city's Director of Community Service Department and Health Officer, the Public Health Nurse conducts epidemiological investigations; provides public health nursing services in homes, clinics, and schools to individuals and families in the community; uses knowledge from nursing, social and public health sciences to promote and protect the health of the city's population through the performance of core public health functions and the delivery of essential public health services. Also, the Public Health Nurse does related work as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health.

EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year of experience in a public health field or, nursing experience gained while working under the close supervision of a licensed public health nurse.

NOTE: Nursing experience in a public health field may include experience with volunteer work, community service, or employment with a Visiting Nurse Association, hospital or other community-based public health partner agency, organization or health department that provides direct public health services to the population or, that contracts such services ot local health departments.

NOTE: Appointees are required to complete a course in population-based public health nursing within one (1) year of appointment.
