Mayor Hawkins and the Orange City Council honor Veterans

 RESOLUTION HONORING MEN OF VALOR ON VETERANS DAYS

 

            WHEREAS, Veterans are one of our Nation’s most treasured resources; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orange Township honors veterans for their Patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good; and
WHEREAS, all residents of the United States of America celebrated Veterans Day on November 11, 2009, a day specially set aside since 1919 for honoring those who have served in the military; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange Township honor and recognize the following thirteen (13) servicemen from the City of Orange Township as our “MEN OF VALOR”:

3. Arthur Pataky
4. Anthony Tutalo
5. Lou Johnson
6. George Blake
7. Steven Rich
8. Sammy Jeff Coate
9. Raymond T. Thomas
10. George Bailey
11. Morrease Leftwich
12. Johnie N. Singleton
13. Leroy Samuel

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE TOWNSHIP that it hereby congratulates and thanks these men of valor for their courage and example for us all.
