This year’s tournament will feature eight 12-year-old all-star baseball teams from Orange, Newark (Jackie Robinson – South Ward; Ivy Hill & West Ward), Irvington, Hillside, Asbury Park and Trenton. “Last years tournament was exciting right down to the final pitch, as our home town Monte Irvin All-Stars beat Roberto Clemente of Brooklyn 8-7” said tournament director Wally Boyett. “And with the list of teams committed to play this year, it promises to be another exciting weekend of youth baseball in Orange.”
