Annual Awards Reception

The Annual Awards Reception, sponsored by the Orange Municipal Alliance was January 8th at Sandwiches Unlimited's Banquet Hall 23 Center St. Mayor Eldridge Hawkins Jr. was present as awards were given to students from Orange schools with students grades 7 and above.

There was a representative from Park Ave School, Shantay Vassell (K-7), The Middle School,  Athena Smith (7-8), Ortange High School  Vanessa Marquez (9-12), OHS-Twilight alternative School, Andres Pavano (9-12) and The St. John's School -a private school in Orange-Michael Jiminez (K-8). Xivandeel Emmanuel the recipient from the Rosa Parks School was not present for the event.

The program included a musical presentation by First in Orange of current popular music. First in Orange is a Municipal Alliance Program. The reception featured appetizers, a buffet dinner and desserts along with music by DJ Jamie.
