Orange Adopts FY08-09 Budget
On May 28, 2009, the City Council adopted the Budget for FY08-09 by a 7-0 vote.

The Municipal portion of your tax bill has increased 3% over the prior years Municipal Budget.  The average residential property owner may anticipate an increase of $140 for the year, or approximately $12. per month.  The School Budget saw a mandatory increase, required by the State Department of Education, and reflects a $59 increase to the average property owner.  The County portion of taxes, due by the City, has not been determined at this time and is billed as an estimate.  The current tax bill mailing is for tax payments normally due on May 1 and mailed with your first quarter tax bill.  The current bill is due 25 days from receipt.
