UNITED WATER INTRODUCES NEW BILL PAYMENT OPTIONS
FOR ORANGE, NJ CUSTOMERS
Safe, Convenient And Environmentally Friendly Choices Now Available
HARRINGTON PARK, NJ, October 27, 2010 – United Water, which operates the Orange, New Jersey water system, announced that customers in Orange have several new options for receiving and paying their water bills.
“We’re pleased to introduce a variety of convenient billing and payment options for our customers in Orange,” said Lynne Allaker, vice president of customer service. “We’ve launched paperless eBilling and automated payment options in response to customer requests.”
“These new options were designed to provide our residents with safe, convenient and environmentally friendly billing and payment methods,” said John Mason, business administrator for Orange. “Our partnership with United Water has helped us provide Orange with high quality water service. Working together, we’ve also made important enhancements in our customer service offerings.”
Allaker explained that customers who opt for paperless eBilling will replace their paper bill with an electronic version emailed directly to their inbox. The eBill looks exactly like the current paper bill and has the added benefit of allowing customers to pay the bill directly from their bank account free of charge.
There are also enhancements for those who prefer to receive a paper bill. Customers can make a credit card payment or pay directly from their bank account by visiting United Water’s website or using the company’s automated phone system. There is a $3 convenience fee associated with these methods.
- To sign up for paperless eBilling or to make an online payment, visit www.unitedwater.com.
- To make a payment using the 24-hour automated phone system, call 888-608-6690.
- To speak to a customer service representative regarding payment, call 866-893-0546 during business hours.
“These are all great options,” said Mason. “We encourage Orange residents to sign up for paperless eBilling services. Not only is this a convenient and safe way to pay your bill but it helps us do our part to protect our natural resources.”
