Appointments for the City of Orange Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
Fiscal Year 2011

The City Council has appointed the members of the FY2011 Citizen Budget Advisory Committee. The mission of the Committee is to examine how Orange spends its money and to make recommendations regarding the city’s budget. Each Council Members appoints two members of the Advisory Committee.

HON HASSAN ABDUL-RASHEED

Maria Vandermeer – Business/restaurant owner, past City Council member.

Paula DeSormes – Licensed Nurse, business manager, returning member of the 2010 CBAC

HON LINDA JONES-BELL

Debra Archer - Administrator/Supervisor for a public corporation

Johathan Iherobien - Licensed teacher, presently involved full time with government labor relations work.

HON ED MARABLE, Jr.

Robert Mitchell – Private school Finance Director, Board President of a Newark charter school.

Bruce Meyer – Retired airline captain. Past business experience includes Board of Directors research/manufacturing company and defense contractor. Returning member of the CBAC

Taquesha Owens  - Information and Technology manager for Fortune 500 company

HON RAYFIELD MORTON

Eric Dunlap Sales rep for technology service company – laid off due to recession

Charles Barner – Owner/manager entertainment promotion/production company. Night shift employee of local business to balance his own budget.

HON ELROY CORBITT

Harold Johnson –Sales Representative of nationally known manufacturing, import/export company.

Crishelle Lytle – Major software company employee, returning member of the 2010 CBAC

HON DONNA WILLIAMS

Adrienne Wooten - Licensed Teacher Varied business experience including budget advisor for a major hotel chain.

Antone Stevens – Retired Newark police officer, BS economics
