Notice of Lien Sale of property for non-payment of taxes, assessments and other Municipal charges.

 Notice is hereby given that I, Carl Smith Collector of the Taxing District of the City of Orange Township, County of Essex, State of New Jersey on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 29 North Day St, Orange, NJ, will expose for Lien Sale and sell several tracts of land on which taxes and/or other Municipal charges as of June 30, 2009 and prior pursuant to NJSA54:5-19  Said properties will be sold subject to redemption at the lowest rate of interest but in no case will exceed 18% per annum.  The payment for liens purchased shall be made via cash, certified check or attorney trust check prior to the conclusion of the sale.  Industrial properties may be subject to The Spill Compensation and Control Act (NJSA58:-1023.11 et seq) The Water Pollution Control Act (NJSA58:10A-1 et seq.)and the Industrial Site Recovery Act (NJSA13:1K-6 et seq.)  In addition, the Municipality is precluded from issuing a Tax Sale Certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or operator of the site.
